If you could place your company in front of an audience that is double the size of the prime-time audience of all three major TV networks for free, would you do it?  That’s the power of YouTube. In just five years, YouTube as grown to two billion viewers a day. The average person spends 15 minutes a day on the site. If you want more stats, check out this viralblog report – http://www.viralblog.com/research/youtube-statistics/  The only drawback, 70% of YouTube’s traffic comes from outside of the US. Of course, that isn’t a draw back if you want international business. Now that YouTube has eliminated their length of video limitation, it is an even more powerful tool. Your corporate videos, your commercials, original and fun videos (the best), they should all be posted on YouTube. Posting is super easy.

So, why don’t more companies use this marketing tool? Not sure. Perhaps they think no one will look at their videos? Well, it helps if you promote your videos using YouTube advertising, but with no promotion people will find you. One destination marketing organization I work with has move than 5,000 views of a travel video and they haven’t spent a penny.
