Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has just been named “Person of the Year” by Time Magazine.  Pretty impressive for a 26-year-old; the youngest winner since a 25-year-old pilot (Charles Lindbergh). Time selected Zuckerberg “for changing how we all live our lives.” True, but is it a change for the better?

Most companies are using FaceBook and other social media platforms to promote their businesses. But I wonder if the communication skills we’re learning are helping us communicate faster and more effectively? When a good friend Bill Ferry (and excellent marketer) sent me this YouTube link, I had to share it. Enjoy the story of  Christmas, via social media http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkHNNPM7pJA&feature=player_embedded

I rest my case.  Happy Holidays.
